Bellerophon caught and tamed the immortal winged horse and Pegasus aided the hero Bellerophon in his fight against both the Chimera and the Amazons, after Bellerophon's fall to earth, Pegasus found sanctuary on the sacred Mt. Olympus, where he carried Zeus' thunderbolts and was ridden by Eos, the goddess of dawn.
